Everything You Borrowed
On Sunday afternoon,

and hid it in your palms
so that when I held your hands
they would no longer be cold.
When Monday night arrived
you snatched every single star
and used my tears to make
a necklace.
Tuesday's empty dawn shone

Thursday crept through us

Technique: that was cheap, and very very crude. You've gone the distance to seriously use one of the oldest tricks in the book in the most embarrassing and yet the most obvious way possible, just because you wound up in a really silent place and realized you had no thoughts whatsoever? THAT is cheap.
Everything else: that's the reason why you still managed to get a high score - the sheer brilliance in the... spartan... nature of this... silence... defines so much about what silence means...
It has no meaning, its just there, to make a point: it's bound to happen.
