A Simple PoemHey,

You'll know when you read this, if you ever read this. I hope you do, because I've wanted to say this for a long time.

My years have added up, oh so fast,
Now I wish I could get them to last,
Life is all but shades of gray and blue,

Fascinated by trucks and mechanical toys,

As the doors parted to reveal the world's greatest stage,
It was a flawless winter wonderland of ivory ice,
And she adroitly drifted in to the centre of the rink,
Feeling quite skittish in front of the capacious crowd,
She looked at the judges and prepared herself to begin,
And then she was off like a display of the divine,

After a very very long time, I feel proud of saying "good man yourself".

THIS was truly the most humble, the most subtle, and the most poignant embrace of such an intricate fragility of human selves that I've ever read.

YES I know bias in a critique goes against rules of dA, but there's honestly nothing over here that needs correction - the use of the meter template was very much condescending towards the picture. That's a good thing; it matches the picture very well.

There's not else to say really... I find that the poem suits the image well. Good!
